The woman has been identified by the coroner as Betty J. Eyer of Newburg.
She was the driver of a vehicle involved in a multiple-vehicle crash at the intersection of Enola and Three Square Hollow roads, Newburg, Hopewell Township at approximately 2:05 p.m. on Sept. 23, the coroner explained.
Her cause of accidental death was caused by multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said.
The status of the other people involved is unknown.
The Shippensburg Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
